Thursday Concessional OPD

At Auro Skin Clinic, we believe in giving back to the community by extending support to those who need it the most. Since the inception of our clinic, we have been committed to making quality dermatological care accessible to everyone. One of the ways we do this is through our “Concessional OPD” held every Thursday. This initiative is aimed at providing affordable and accessible skin care services to non-affording patients who may not have the means to seek treatment otherwise.

Through this initiative, we offer a range of dermatological treatments at heavily subsidized rates, ensuring that every individual, regardless of their financial situation, can receive the care they deserve. Whether it’s common skin concerns like acne, pigmentation, or chronic skin conditions requiring long-term treatment, our charity OPD allows patients to benefit from our expertise without the worry of cost.

This program reflects our deep-rooted belief that everyone deserves healthy, beautiful skin, and financial barriers should not prevent people from accessing quality skin care. It also aligns with Dr. Avina Jain’s vision of making Auro Skin Clinic not just a place for premium treatments, but a hub of compassionate care that caters to the wider community.

Every Thursday, the clinic opens its doors to non-affording patients, offering consultations and treatment under the same high standards that Auro Skin Clinic is known for, making a tangible difference in the lives of many who might otherwise be left untreated.

It is wonderful to see the support of various pharma companies that provide free samples to our patients. This ensures that the patient starts the treatment immediately. We are grateful to the support of such companies.

Through this ongoing endeavor, we aim to fulfill our responsibility towards the community and create a lasting positive impact, ensuring that Auro Skin Clinic continues to be a clinic with a heart.

Student camps

Student camps at NMIMS campus, Shirpur

At Auro Skin Clinic, we are committed to extending our expertise and care beyond the walls of our clinic. One of our most impactful community outreach initiatives has been the Free Skin Consultation Camps organized at the NMIMS campus in Shirpur, specifically for school students. These camps have been conducted twice in the last two years, with over 400 students benefiting from comprehensive skin, hair, and nail care consultations and treatments during each camp.

The camp is a three-day event where Dr. Avina Jain and the dedicated team from Auro Skin Clinic travel to Shirpur to provide specialized dermatological care to students. For many of these young individuals, access to expert skin care is limited, and our goal is to ensure that they receive the attention and treatment they need to manage common skin issues and maintain healthy skin.

Apart from providing consultations and treatments, the camp also focuses on education. Students are not only treated for specific concerns but also receive valuable guidance on maintaining skin, hair, and nail hygiene. This initiative is designed to empower students with practical tips on daily routines, sun protection, and proper hygiene practices, which are essential during their developmental years.

These camps have had a lasting impact, offering students the chance to learn about skincare from experts and receive treatments that improve their confidence and well-being. The positive response from students, staff, and the community motivates us to continue organizing such camps, ensuring that good skin care is accessible to all, especially the younger generation.

At Auro Skin Clinic, we believe that giving back to the community through initiatives like these is a step toward building a healthier and more informed society.

Go Green initiative

At Auro Skin Clinic, we take our responsibility toward the environment seriously, recognizing that even small steps can contribute to a larger positive impact. Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in various green practices implemented throughout the clinic, ensuring that we reduce waste, conserve resources, and promote eco-friendly habits in our daily operations.

Here are some of the steps we’ve taken to make Auro Skin Clinic a greener place:

  1. Paperless Billing: In a bid to reduce paper consumption, we email all patient bills directly to them. This not only saves paper but also ensures smoother, more efficient service.
  2. Plastic Waste Management: We are mindful of the plastic waste generated at the clinic. All plastic waste is segregated, dried, and responsibly handed over to the plastic waste management centre in Juhu, ensuring that it is properly recycled and doesn’t harm the environment.
  3. No Plastic Water Bottles: To cut down on single-use plastic, we have completely eliminated the use of plastic water bottles at the clinic. We encourage the use of reusable bottles and offer filtered water to our patients and staff.
  4. Recycled Printing Paper: For any printing needs, such as consent forms for our patients, we exclusively use recycled paper. This is another small but significant step in reducing our environmental footprint.
  5. Energy Conservation: Our road signage lights are scheduled to automatically turn off during night hours, helping us save energy without compromising visibility during operational hours.
  6. Greenery Inside the Clinic: We have integrated nature into our space, with over 20 different small and large plants around the clinic. These plants not only improve air quality but also create a soothing, peaceful environment for our patients and staff.

At Auro Skin Clinic, we believe that by making these conscious decisions, we can contribute to a more sustainable future. Going green is not just a policy for us; it’s a way of life, and we are always looking for new ways to reduce our ecological impact.
